If the user does not search what you’re writing about, you won’t get traffic on your website from Google. So, Keywords are the most important part of SEO. If you are new in SEO then you need to understand the importance of the keywords. You get lots of posts about this but reading tons of posts and trying to piece everything together is hard. That’s why I wrote this Guide.

What Is Keyword Research?

Keywords are the word and phrase that user type or search into the search engines to get their relevant results. Keywords are known as search queries or queries.

The process of searching keywords that we want to rank for in search engines is known as keyword research. This search is related to our products and about to understand what potential users are searching the same and how.

This process also involves analyzing and comparing keywords to find the best conversions.

Why Keyword Research is Important?

Keyword Research helps us to understand what people are searching into search engines. This will help us to create engaging content on those topics, that users are typing or searching. You need to know this to avoid traffic less content.

2. Are people searching these keywords to become my client? 

3. How much traffic these do keywords provide me?

4. Which type of content should I create?

5. How much time of effort will these keywords take for raking?

The answer to these questions will help you to improve your performance.

How to Find Keywords Ideas?

Keyword research starts with understanding their products and how the customer might search for your product. Then you can be combined that knowledge and with the help of tools find the best keywords which are more relevant to your product.

You can do this with the help of some paid and free tools but I recommend for Search Console and Google keyword Planner. Both are provided by Google and a free tool that is used widely by the user.

If you have a google search console setup and want to do keyword research, just log in to your account and click on the search result report. This shows you up to 1000 keywords.

If you don’t have Search Console set up or want to see more than 1000 keywords, use Google keywords planner. All the keyword research tools work in the same way. Google Keyword Planner is the most well known free tool used by the advertisers. You can use this tool for SEO keywords research also. This tool helps you to understand all the terms like competition, their search volume.

Beyond Keyword Planner & Search Console, there are tons of third-party tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, SpyFu. These tools help you to pull out the most relevant keywords for your business. You can choose one who suits your pocket.
